Tucked away up in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, this small vineyard has a long standing tradition in wine production. The family has produced Mantonegro wines here as far back as the 1950s.
The modern winery was officially founded in 2000 and became one of the first organic vineyards in Mallorca. They still take care of those same old Mantonegra vineyards and have added Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Viognier.
Vineyards: 7 ha in Serra de Tramuntana facing South-West, 500 m asl.
Average age of vines: 45 years.
Soil: terra rossa (call vermell) – red clay.
Production: around 13 000 bottles.
