Matilde Poggi's first harvest was in 1984. Matilde is president of the Federation of Italian Independent Winemakers (FIVI) dedicated to promoting the quality and authenticity of Italian wines.

Her 30 ha of vineyards are located in Cavaion Veronese, within the heart of the Bardolino district bordering Lake Garda.
